September 17 - 19, 2010

New: Schedule

Have Fun, Meet New People

We want to welcome you to beautiful Mt. Hood, Oregon. September in Oregon is our most beautiful month. The days are sunny, the humidity low and the evenings are cool (good for dancing). Our camp location is gorgeous. The band is hot! The teachers are fantastic with special teachers and classes for all levels including beginners-advanced Zydeco lessons and a Blues Fusion lesson. You can't beat the price. If you are flying, Cascade Zydeco will make every effort to provide linens, airport pickup and home stays.

Come early, stay after and and enjoy playing at the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Ski Bowl, only a few miles down the road or, head to Timberline Lodge for a stunning view of the top of Mt. Hood. While in town you can explore Portland, walk through our Japanese or Chinese gardens or dance any style you want.

Attention Beginning Dancers

Sean Donovan and Jodi FleishmanBeginner classes will be handled by two of our favorite teachers from Seattle - Sean Donovan and Jodi Fleishman. From his website: "Sean Patrick Donovan loves music and dance, and is passionate about teaching dance and helping others find sheer joy in movement. Positive and playful, Sean creatively communicates the essence of dance and its power to delight and transform us."

Known for her warm and playful teaching style, Jodi loves sharing her passion for all things dance (over 17 years now!). What matters to Jodi, who has studied and taught dance internationally, is the heart, the music and the connection with another on the dance floor.

Sounds like a great introduction to zydeco!
